CREATING A DIGITAL STORY

 HOW TO?

    Designing a digital story is a meticulous and detailed process. This was a group assignment and we had to decide what our video would be about. After deciding our topic as "How to project", it was equally important what kind of process we would choose. After a few ideas, my friend Emirhan and I decided to make a recipe video together. There were steps to follow while making this video. First of all, we decided a dialog around which we would shape our video, namely the recipe. After this step, my friend undertook the recording of the video. After the recording, I did the voice-over for the video. I used the "Imovie" application to voice the video.

The process was really long, it was challenging for me to record the audio over the video. It took me time to adapt and edit the dialogues according to the steps in the video. This was an important stage because the sound recording had to be done well for the video to be of good quality. Still, at the end of the process, we got the result we wanted. In the future, I plan to teach how to design such digital stories, because it increases creativity and is a useful process to learn video editing procedures.
